    Default Divorce After Deportation

My sister has been married to a mexican for the last 15 yrs. They seperated 11 yrs ago and since then, he has had his green card revoked and has been deported back to mexico. She wants to get a divorce and doesn't know how to go about it. Last she heard, he was still in mexico and wanting to marry someone there. Any advice on how she can go about divorcing him? Thanks!

She should be able to file for divorce where she lives. Ideally she can successfully have him served with the divorce papers in Mexico.

Most state allow 'service by publication' if you can't find the respondent.

You have to exhaust other means of contacting them - any relatives, friends, ex-employers who would know of their where-abouts ?
