My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: New Mexico. In my lease agreement for an apartment my rent is $665 a month but it states that starting the following month it is going to be $480. Now its a month to month lease and my landlord signed it. Clearly It was a mistake but by law can he make me pay more than $480 since that what it says in the lease agreement? Can he evict me if I dont pay $665 but only pay $480?
