Pregnant 17 Year Old Looking for Emancipation

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: Colorado

I am currently 17 and 10 weeks pregnant. My parents want to put me in a teen mom group home and are basically giving me no other option. I do not wish to raise my kid in a group home for a year. I want to know if I can get emancipated and how that process works, how long it takes, and what the benefits are. Please help me.

The state of Colorado does not have a procedure to emancipate a minor. IF you were WITH PERMISSION living on your own and paying 100% of your own expenses, the state might - MIGHT - consider you emancipated if you were able to demonstrate not only that you were capable of managing all your own finances AND that you were demonstrating more than usual maturity for your age.

Given that you are not living on your own, you are not paying 100% of your own expenses, and the state does not consider being pregnant at 17 to be demonstrating more than usual maturity for your age, no, you will not be emancipated.
