Can You Get a MIP Dropped Based on Ticket Mistakes

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Nebraska

I recieved a ticket for a mip i blew at the scene, however on my ticket there is no charge, no boxes are checked, and in other offense it is blank. I am wondering if the officer made a mistake and wrote me a citation for an mip but forgot to write my charge on the ticket. If so I assume i can get this dropped easy on my court date. thanks for the help.

If it's BLANK (as in no offense), the court where the citation is filed may very well contact the officer before trial to see if he wants to amend it. There may be ways to use this mistake to your advantage, but they are state specific.
