I'm 19.
I pay for school by myself, I pay my car insurance and I buy all my clothes and food.
My parents do not help me.
I still live with them, but only because I can not afford to move out on my own. It's miserable, we fight constantly.
Through my first year of school, I've worked two jobs and I'm still falling into credit card debt with textbooks and gas and other expenses.
I'm only eligible for stafford loans that collect interest while I am in school ( I think that is unsubsidized?) because my dad makes too much money. These barely cover tuition and books.

Is it possible to file for financial emancipation so that my *own* finances will be taken into account instead of theirs?
If I can't figure something out, I'm going to have to drop out of school and I really don't want to.
I just can't afford this anymore.
I'm on the Dean's List at my college, too.. but still do not receive any scholarships. I don't understand it, but I don't know what else to do.
According to my financial aid office I have to join the military, get married or have a child before MY finances will be the ones considered.

Please, please tell me that is not accurate.
I do not want to drop out of school but fear I may have no other choice.
