My question involves a marriage in the state of: California
My estranged husband and I own a property in California. My name is not listed on the mortgage, the property is solely listed in his name. However, I am listed on the deed of trust. I moved out 5 months ago and want to know my legal rights pertaining to the property. Will I lose my rights to ownership if I do not return to the property in the near future? Is there a time line or an abandonment law which excludes me from ownership now or later? Nonetheless, we are not legally separated.
