    Default Stalker with a camera

I was being followed and photographed by a woman who purchased my home two years ago. This woman recently followed me to a local store and circled my car taking pictures. She waited for me to come of the store and pulled her car next to mine and took a couple shots (not gunshots!) of me in the car.

Today, she was taking picutures of my current residence. These photo's are supposed to somehow show me with a pistol. I have no pistol. These photo's are useless, yet I want them.

Is it illegal to take photo's without consent? Is there any legal way for me to get the picures?

It is not illegal to take pictures from a public vantage point of another.
As well, you have no means of obtaining the pictures.

I would try to get stalking charges against this woman and Restraining Order against her. She sounds like a nut and I was fear for my safety! Check into it with the police in your area.

These laws vary by state. What state is this happening in?

Hey Carl, this is in michigan. Are photo's taken of my residence an invasion of my privacy? Again, I did not consent to this action.

Photos of your residence, taken from a place where the observer has a lawful right to be, are generally perfectly lawful. Pursuant to 750.539d and 750.539j, this does not appear criminal as the front of your home is, presumably, visible from the street or other public locale.

However, when combined with the other actions (following you, taking photos in public places, walking around your car, etc.) this might be sufficient for a stalking offense pursuant to MPC 750.411h.
