My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: California
Hello,
My ex employer terminated me and had me sign paperwork. I was in such a daze, I never got a copy (although they say they did). There are some remarks on there that are very important to my up-coming legal case against them and I believe they now know this and that is why when I contacted them they said, "We've given you everything in your employee file and we've completed our legal obligation and will not give you anything else". They are wrong and are just hoping I will go away because of a few statements that were falsely recorded. How can I get this copy from them? Thank you very much.
