My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: California
Ok this is my story 2 years ago I was cited for driving under the influence of alcohol. In court I represented myself and the DA offered me a reduced charge of wet and reckless with out me asking in exchange for my no contest, so I did. Recently applied for a job and where it asked for my criminal record I noted my wet and reckless misdeamenor and that it included informal probation and a fine. I interviewed for the job and received a job offer letter and the company sent me the information for the background check. I again fully disclosed the fact that I have a misdeamenor like I did on the companies online profile application along with the speeding ticket I have. I have disclosed this information to the company will I fail the background check? the offer letter says that if my background is inconsistent with my profile that the offer can be rescinded. I fully disclosed it and may be freaking out for no reason but I need your opinion on this please!
