    Default Expunging a Violation

My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Oregon:

Is a conviction of a violation (possession of < 1 oz. of marijuana) eligible to be expunged in the State of Oregon? Will this record still be available to be viewed by public safety agencies (emt/fireman)?

You'd need to talk to a lawyer. Having it expunged isn't just black and white here. They take into account failure to obtain work, age during drug charge, criminal history, and if you ever went to any programs for drugs. For that little marry I think honesty will be the best policy with an employer if it can still show up. An employer rather find out through you and not a background check.

If your charge is less then an oz it can be expunged but will be seen by a EMS/Fire department.
