Exclamation Division of a House Between Engaged but Not Married People

My question involves divorce in the State of: Pennsylvania

We were never married, only engaged, but the seperation is sort of like a divorce. When we were engaged, I was self employed and sopporting us 100%. We were renting a place and she would do some cooking and laundry. I went to buy a house with money that i had soley made. The realtor asked "whos name is going on the deed" and I replied with "mine", since i made the money to buy the house. I figured when we got married in a few months shed be on it. She started to cry saying how i didnt trust her and shed never take my house, etc etc. A few months later she breaks up with me, and will not remove her name from the dead. I even offered monitary amounts but shes set on going to court and trying to get half. I paid 100% of the down payment and 100% of the mortgage payments while we were together, and after we had seperated.

So thats my story. I have a few questions.
Is a divorce lawyer the correct lawyer to get or is a real estate one better since its an arguement over real estate?
Is it worth it to hire a lawyer? I was told by some friends that with her name on the dead i have very slim chances.
How strong is my case here? does anyone have experiance in anything like this?
Any other comments or advice would be great, as i know just about nothing about law. thanks.

You're screwed. You gave her half the house. Please tell me she is also on the mortgage?
In a divorce you'd have specific legal protections. You can ask a divorce lawyer if they can handle such issues but it might take a real estate expert as well.

Your problem is that marriage is a form of a legal contract. There is no such legal animal as "almost married" or "sort of married". The status of being married gives you access to the legal process of disolving that contract, in the form of a divorce action -but only if ACTUALLY married. Putting her on the deed without having the protections afforded by access to the divorce process already in place, may end up being a very expensive gift. You really need to sit down with a real estate attorney asap.
