My question involves child support in the State of: Washington
Mother and I have been separated for 2-years now. I have been paying her each month an agreed amount, but have not established child support or parenting plan.
Our child is starting pre-K next week, but Friday he will have to attend daycare. In order to have the state help assist in daycare, my son's mother was told she'd need to show proof that I'm paying child support.
She's now requested for me to completed all the necessary forms to make this official, so the state will help pay for the daycare on Fridays.
Can we deviate from the state calculated amount if we both have agreed?
Can we file for me to pay child support even without an established parenting plan?
Can this all be done in one day? Can we just have a family commissioner sign the amount we've agreed on and finalize it?
Is it possible for me to pay her directly, or does this request me to pay another agency?
Do we still need to complete the "Child Support Worksheet" if we have agreed on a deviated amount? If not, what worksheet do we complete?
Thanks,
AG
