Thanks for your opinion. In reading your response though you don't seem to have any familiarity with measure 10 or the Oregon parole boards ability to discharge my parole. Again, appreciate your opinion and advice, but I was hoping to find some facts from some one who knows what the legal aspects of this are so that I can better understand my options and help guide the discussions with my PO.
You see, I have asked my parole officer about this. Unfortunately my PO has not been a PO for 20 years and is unfamiliar with how matrix cases work. I seem to in fact be the first matrix case he has handled. Just my luck. I agree, 8 years would be a breeze, if I didn't have a job that requires frequent interstate travel (often booked at last notice), as well as the occasional international trip, but I do. I am sure this is something my PO and I can work out, they do seem to be very accommodating given my lack of issues for 20 years, but it just seems to be a hassle for all involved.
Again, thanks for your opinion and advice - I do value your input, I was just hoping to for some more factual input.
