My question involves a child custody case from the State of: California

While I can go into the details of PAS with this current case, I want to be more specific, and find if some of these things would warrant me trying for primary physical custody.

I will start by saying that I have provided a home for our child. Our child has his own bedroom, and bathroom at my place. I am a single father.

The first thing which happened which made me want to obtain primary custody is that our son had missed many days of school last year. His mother had to sign a contract with the school, and was threatened with legal action because of his absences and tardies.

The second is that I have discovered that his step-father was recently (within a month) arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance on a weekend when our child was with his mother.

I appreciate any help. Thank you
