If viewing yourself as a victim and deriding your parental partner as a criminal makes you feel vindicated, then so be it. You are a victim.

Remedies within family law have evolved over decades/centuries so as to recognize the very real and often inevitable consequences of “killing the goose that lays the golden eggs”, “biting the hand that feeds you”, “falling on your own sword” etc.

The “bull in a china closet” mindset of domestic violence laws most often has a boomerang effect. Some people might call it karma.

    This isn't even in doubt.

Not only was the OP beaten but her husband admitted to it in open court. Everyone else would say that was pretty conclusive.

All of which beats the hell out of "killing the mother", "bruising the woman that feeds you" and "causing your wife to fall down the stairs".

I sense a general feeling of "women should just learn how to take a punch" here. You are incorrect.

Most call it justice. I guess you also believe that a parent that molests his/her child should still be allowed in the same home with that child?

Why don't you tell us how badly and how often someone needs to be beaten before you believe they are a victim?

That is the worst approximation of "C'est la vie" I have ever seen. That isn't even the right language.

Do you research ANYTHING before you speak?
