How to Get Emancipated

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: new York. I am 17 years old and for the past 2 months I have been living with my boyfriend and his mother. My parents have tried getting me to move back yet I keep refusing their offers because I feel much happier and more like a family where I am now. My rents have refused to give me any of my clothes and have not given me any money what so ever. They constantly harassed me through text message on my boyfriends fone and its gotten to the point where I cry myself silly at night because of them. In all honesty if it wasn't for my boyfriend i probably would've committed suicide. They set up counseling meeting through my local pins yet they can't put me on pins because i get good good grades and am a very good athlete and student. I am supposed to spend my senior year in college yet my parents are trying to refuse me that great learning opportunity. They are also threatening to have the cops come and remove me from my boyfriends and force me back. I need as much legal help as possible plz write back asap thank you!

You need to get yourself back home.

You CAN get into a LOT of trouble - and so can your boyfriend's parents.

You want to force your parents to pay for your activities while you shack up with your boyfriend in direct opposition to their wishes?

Not going to happen.

Further, if you get emancipated, you are an adult and they don't own you a single dime.

If you want you stuff, go home. If you don't want the cops to come and drag you home, go home.

I would have had you brought home long ago.

I do not want that my parents pay for my stuff I do not want to shack up with my boyfriend and all I want for my parents house is the clothes and stuff I paid for. And NY does have a none written form of emancipation. I have gone through so much mental and verbal abuse by my parents its not even funny I posted this asking for help not some smart a** remark from someone who doesn't know me thank you very much.

What information do you require that you could not obtain from the stickied threads you were instructed to read before posting? "My life is hard" may be a true statement, but it isn't grounds for emancipation.
