My question involves a child custody case from the State of: MO and AZ
My wife and I live in MO and her parents live in AZ. Her son/my stepson is 14 and wants to live in AZ with his grandparents because they spoil him and he has no rules when he is with them.
We let him visit them this summer and while he was down there, he met his real father for the first time in over ten years. The grandparents are very shady when it comes to the son and there seems to be some cryptic messaging back and fourth in his emails (which we have access to, but we don't think he realizes this) and we are worried now that they may be planning something to get him down there.
The father hasn't paid child support in years. Is there anything he can do to like give him permission to live with the grandparents even though we say no?
