Default Traveling Across State Lines with a Seventeen-Year-Old Old

My question involves juvenile law in the State of: North Carolina, Maryland, Deleware, New Jersey

Ok so I am 17 and will be turning 18 this weekend. I and my bf (who is 19) live in NC are going to visit my family in New Jersey for the weekend. My parents are aware of us going on the trip and are fine with it. I am just looking to find out if there is paper work or something we need to do to prevent there being any issues with the law in case we are pulled over or stopped for any reason. What I have found so far is that my parents may just need to write a note saying its ok and signing it for me to take with me. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

If you travel after you turn 18, you don't need anything as you will no longer be a minor.
