My question involves real estate located in the State of: Texas
I owner financed 20 acres of land in 2001. I was preapproved in 2006 to have a home built on this property. The home was complete in 2007 and I moved in. The lender/builder advised me that I would have to sign a lease to stay in the home because I no longer qualified for the loan, due to some laws that have changed.
Can they legally do this to me?
