Default No Damage, But Other Party Opened a Claim

My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: florida

So i was working at papa johns, it was raining pretty bad and my brakes locked up and barely love tapped another car. It was just enough for them to call the police and the whole 9 yards. There was no damage, no issues. Complete was of time to get anything involved, they're insurance is expired and they acted like they didnt know it like the usual immigrants down here.

My manager reported it to the firefighters fund so they couldnt sue the company based on injury since i hit them at about 5 mph and they were fine and dandy.

Now a month later they are opening a claim against me. I cant afford to give them jack squat on my $4/hr job. what should i do.

Turn it over to your insurance company.

Well, you do get tips and mileage. It's not just $4 an hour. Now that we have that out of the way I do understand what your're implying.

I can only assume they opened a "soft tissue damage" injury claim against you. If that's the case, there was no damage and there is a high probability it's will be rejected by the insurance company. That's why you have insurance though, to let them take care of the junk.

Yep talked to them, it was Papa johns insurance company that opened the claim to see if they needed to pay for anything. They wont need to.
