Within a month or so it would arrive. Sometimes longer.

Despite not wanting to work at WalMart, you have other worries. A criminal record can afford other jobs, even apartments or housing.....

Most companies have a minimum threshold before initiating civil demand. It is usually around $5. The expense vs the payback is too low.

Stop stealing. It is apparent that stealing is in your blood and if you will steal something small, you probably have stolen something big.

    A coke? Seriously?
I agree it was terrible and I have felt bad about it all day. Just didn't think much of it at the time and had a brainfart. I've never really stolen before, although I did steal a hat once like 3 years ago from a hiking reservation. Stole a soda few years back from a subshop after paying for a sub and soda. So I guess I was kinda being immature/thinking it was funny.

I'm not gonna lie I guess I did get a little mini-excitement out of it looking back but I've never stolen anything big to answer your question.

Getting caught and humiliated 1 time is all I need to never do it again. I'm like terrified what its gonna do to my future over $1.48. 1 sniff of the consequences to my actions have me knowing I'll never steal anything again. It was just a petty/immature thing I did a couple times and I know it won't happen again.

My criminal record is completely clean also fwiw...

Lastly, this board has been very supportive and I respect that you guys are a bunch of informed straight shooters. Thanks for your inputs

Yeah doesn't sound like criminal record is an issue, the guy said it would just be a warning most likely.

I don't think anyone wants to work at walmart. I was actually saying that you never know where life takes you though and to not be able to work at walmart or other retail establishments over something so stupid would be incredibly stupid by me.

I think 1 of you guys made the point in another thread, way too many people with clean records out there to have a record and need a job.
