My question involves a marriage in the state of:CT

I have been married 21 years. In divorce process. SAHM for the last 17+ years. Children are 19, 16, 14 and 12.

Custody we asked for primary to be with me. the 19 year old doesnt even count. said the 16 year old could schedule whenever she wants. the 14 and 12 every other weekend, couple weeknights, and basically I said whenever he wants as long as we can do it.

Asked for me to stay in the home until 12 year old is out of school and then sell and split proceeds.

OK so he will absolutely not agree. He is still living here. Its very very uncomfortable. He wants to negotiate with me but I want everything through attorneys. He wants 50/50 custody, sell house so we could get "equal" housing. I wont agree to this. I have never been about money or spending money....to a fault. I want this for the stability of my kids. Especially since the 16 year old will be a senior in high school next year...etc. I have decided that I will hold firm on this. He says I will have to take him to court.

Im just wondering how common this is and if my "chances" for lack of a better term of receiving the settlement I requested. All my friends are saying well the courts side with the mother especially a SAHM in a long term marraige such as yours. Is this true? I raised our kids. He worked long hours and traveled.
