My husband and I have been married for 1 year and 5 months. I have been holding my temporary green card for 11 months. Our marriage has been a rocky one ever since I received my green card. I entered the marriage in good faith but husband became very controlling, jealous, and started having anger management issues. I need to re-apply for my permanent green card in May 2012 but I am afraid the marriage will not last that long; thus I plan to initiate the divorce. To prove the bona fide status of our marriage we currently have our third apartment lease agreement, car that we paid off together, ongoing car insurance, pictures, and bunch of his and my bills coming to our address. We do not have bank account as it is easier for us run the money separately. We also have separate health insurances and cars under separate names due to different credit ratings/history. The question is whether I have enough evidence to prove I did not marry him for a green card.
