=questions101;539532]I am a female so i wont be raping anyone's daughter but thanks for your apology.
what does your or the child's gender have to do with it. Yes, a female is capable of unlawful sexual conduct with another female.

and, although it has already been answered:

parents cannot give anybody permission to molest their children. It remains illegal to do so and the parents are also complicit in the act as well as subject to charges under several other statutes if they knowingly allow it or even worse, give permission for it.

    Exclamation Re: Exemption

So this statement is false?? "By law, the exception permits a person 23 years of age or younger to engage in legal sexual activity with a minor aged 16 or 17."
Because it was posted in 2011 so it is an updated law.... ???

I am not being a wise a** or anything I just dont understand why I ask a simple question and everyone assumes I am a perpatrator.

    .
I have read such references but have found no statutes to support the statement. You are welcome to look http://www.leg.state.fl.us/Statutes/

more specifically any such reference should be in this section http://www.leg.state.fl.us/Statutes/...XLVI#TitleXLVI

there are several chapters within that section that may address sex related crimes with minors.

so far, this is the only exemptions I have found. It only involves registration for a sex offender registry:

Thank You so much for the references. I will check them out. I have looked in several different places and as far as I have read it seems that anyone under the age of 24 can have consential sex with anyone 16 and over. But I will keep researching. Thank you JK!

No one here is going to give an adult permission to have sex with a child. No matter what.

    My answer is this:

If you have to ask.....you should not do it. Or you should be making an appointment with a local lawyer in your area to ask.

Read the stickied thread and follow the forum rules. We don't do "when can I sleep with a minor" questions here.
