    Post How Much to Request to Settle Lifetime Worker's Comp Benefits Claim

    I am conducting legal research for the state of:tennessee.
    i am trying to figure out how much to tell works comp. company i will sale my lifetime hand/physic insurace for,can anyone tell me were to find these answers.

    As a general rule you figure out what the cost of your future medical needs is likely to be, reduce it to present value, and request that amount. Well, actually, you request more than that amount as the insurance company will almost certainly counter-offer for less than you're asking. If you have difficulty understanding what I'm talking about, perhaps you should consider working with a worker's comp lawyer.

    you need to see an actuary .... these are somewhat complicated matters
