My question involves a marriage in the state of: Missouri
I am going through a divorce after a 31 yr marriage & ran his & my credit report. I noticed a Home lender had inquired about my credit. My husband took $20,000 or more out of his 401K to give to his girlfriend for a down payment. The date of inquire coinsideds with date she applied for home. Why would the lender be inquiring on my credit report & not his? Plus, since he gave away his 401K (only $12,000 left) will he be able to take 1/2 of retirement Ira (just rolled over from 401K's). I also found he took out an insurance policy that I know nothing about & am not sure in what it is for. How do I find out about this info. I may have to get a new lawyer cause she doen't seem to be finding out too much for me. I got $500 maintenance & have to give up my martial home. $5oo a month will not let me get a place to live, pay utilities, buy insulin & blood pressure meds & food. He lied about his total income & since he lives with girlfriend, I guess is paying her bills. I heard he was going to rent out the martial home or start a dog kennel business for her to run. We have a rental property in the city, but he rented it to her brother for $300 a month with a 2 year lease (fair market value in area is $750-900 for single family house)..
