Can You Get Emancipated Before You're 16

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Tennessee

I am 14 and I live in tennessee. I was hoping i could get emancipated next year, which is a year before the minimum age. I live with my mother and step father. They are severe alcholics with a baby on the way. my house is very broken down and im always stressed out about when the bills will get paid. we've had the water and power out several times. they work at night and i am completely alone, and we are without food a lot. they make just enough so we cant get food stamps. i have a few jobs i can apply for, and a friend willing to move in with me. is this at all possible?

You have no chance of becoming emancipated.

If you are TRULY without food and power, you should tell your school counselors. Or contact social services.
