My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: Massachusetts

My employer has offered me a RIF package. I plan to negotiate the package since I believe the RIF is due to discrimination that I alleged during some recent internal job transfer negotiations.

If I negotiate a bigger RIF package with a lawyer's help now and I desire to get employed by the same company later on (in a few years) - does the current set of negotiations prevent me from them giving me a job later on?
