My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Texas
On may 26, 2011 I bouth a car at a toyata dealership. I gave a trade in, 3000 cash down. and paper work so they could fax it to the lender. Two weeks later they call me to tell me the deal didnt go through. They found another bank but needed 2000 more. On june 10, 2011 i sign another contract. Two weeks later or more they are calling off the hook demanding to talk to me because they cant find the first 3000 dollars i gave them. That they will take the car back!!!! Im already set to give a payment tomorrow to the bank who bought the loan. Can the dealership do this???????? My carfax shows the lein holder of the car is the bank who financed me. What do I do??? I have TWO contracts that show I gave them the money. I dont want to talk to them anymore. Can they reposes my car in the middle of the night???? Also, but not as important, they sold me a level 4 trim. I got it in writing on my contract and also a printout from there web page. But on the sticker price which I found was hiding in the back seat of the car, It clearly states its a level 2. can i do something about that??? This is for a used car. Thank you!!![]()
