    Default International Child Custody Dispute

My question involves a child custody case from outside of US.

I am writing here because I cannot find an answer on how to proceed. Me and my x-husband, we live in the US; and our child is in a different country. I need to get my child here to the US, and my x is not giving me written permission for Embassy purposes (PoA).
How can I proceed? I have local court decree from that country which says: child should live with his/her mother.

It sounds like a physical custody of a child, not full. Can I use that document in Embassy?

If not, then what are my options? Can I sue my x here? If yes, on what grounds?

This is not a matter of US law. You need to go the embassy of the unnamed country and work through their laws.
