Default Mortgage Lender Won't Agree To A Closing Date

I am approved for a loan through a mortgage company here in Atlanta but I can't seem to get the closing date nailed down. One day it was a tuesday, then thursday, then friday, then the following tuesday... I don't know where it will end.
IS THERE ANY LEAGAL ACTION I CAN TAKE TO LIGHT A FIRE UNDER THEM??!!! Their excuse is that the underwriter quit but that wouldn't explain the past week of excuses. HELP!!!!

    Default Problematic Mortgage Company

You can look into an alternative mortgage company, and try to recover any fees you paid to the former company, although you should consult with a lawyer about your probable ability to collect those fees.
