    Unhappy Left U.S. After Receiving Green Card

    my 6-yr old daughter and i were conditional green card holder. several months after we got our card i sent her back to my country to study and stay with my parents. i wasnt able to secure a permit for her to come back in the US. and next year were supposed to apply for removal of conditions, can i still include her on my application? she left US for a year now. what should i do to retain her green card? pls help me, thanks

    You sent your child out of the country for over a year? This could lead to abandonment since she does not have a reentry permit. It is likely to be the case because you did not plan ahead and file proper forms. Since you have improperly handled the situation so far, get an attorney to assist you in future immigration processing. Immigration issues require great attention to detail; when someone is unable or unwilling to learn the rules, they need to pay an attorney for assistance.
