    Default Juvenile parole

HI, my son got into trouble when he was fifteen , he has now served his time plus some, hes now almost seventeen, he will be released in june. The whole time he has been in there he has had good behavior with no trouble at any time. He cut a deal when he went to court . The deal was for a year. Hes now been in there for almost two years. My question is why does he have to be put on parole for up to six months after his release if he has already served his time?

    Default Parole

If he served two years on a one year sentence, presumably he was convicted of an additional offense. The purpose of probation is not just to watch him, but to help him adjust back into the outside world. It may be helpful.
