Breach of Contract By a Private University

My question involves education law in the State of: Maryland.

Can anyone provide me with any information applicable to pursuing a breach of contract claim against a private college/university. A brief search and review indicates private universities can do whatever they want and that courts do not get involved.

Any help would be appreciated. Edit: Perhaps it would be useful to start with does a student have a right to his education...are there material grounds to sue? What precedent or case would be used?

You also do not have a right to a college level education.
