    Default Remaining After Forbidden

    My question involves criminal law for the state of: LA

    I got a ticket for remaining after forbidden when I was at my fiance's and my car. The police officer gave me this ticket then said all I have to do is show up at court and it will be dropped, but after I read up on this, it doesn't seem like this will happen. So my question is, Can my fiance actually drop the charges since thats what I was technically being forbidden from, our car??

    After the police have been called and the court date has been set, the die has been cast.

    Why would your girlfriend call the police on you and then not want to anymore?

    The police was already there. We were at a festival.
