My question involves a child custody case from the State of: NY

I have been reading about Parental Alienation and its affects on children's emotional attachment to the alienated parent. I believe I am a victim of this syndrome in that my ex refuses to allow the children any phone contact with me unless he monitors the conversations, he proof-reads letters to and from the children and myself, he won't allow me to text or e-mail the children, and he has told them that if they try and contact me without him being present or if I contact them on their personal cell phones, then the children will pay the consequence. I raised them alone for 13 years and have a very strong bond with my children, which I feel is being strained as a result of his demands. They are afraid of his threats and it is taking a huge toll on our relationsip!
Are there any cases in NY where Parental Alienation Syndrome could be used as evidence of emotional distress in children?
