    Default Solicitation of Prostitution

My situation, arrested for solicitation of prostitution , had to do a community service of 10 hours or pay 10 dollars per hour. The disposition says nothing but it was a nolle prosequi. ( no probation, no fine, no jail,no admission). If I apply for Citizenship ( the incident happened 3 1/2 years ago and I am on green card), what is possiblitiy of denial and, is there any chance of deportation also ?? ( the maximum punishment could have been 60 days, misdemeanor) . is that deportable or inadmissible ?Can you please advise me. thanks

You are stating that you were caught soliciting a prostitute, correct? (Not that you are a prostitute caught soliciting customers.)

You might want to wait out five years before seeking naturalization; or consult an immigration lawyer for a detailed evaluation. If my previously stated assumption is correct, I would not expect the charge to result in deportation or loss of your Green Card.

Default Any Trouble at Reentry to the U.S. if I Was Arrested for Solicitation of Prostitution

I was arrested for solicitation of prostitution 4 months ago through police Sting opreation, police didn't have any recording evidence against me, but had to pay a community service of 10 hours ( $ 100 total ) in addtion to prosecutor's fee ( another $100 ). The disposition says successufuly completed DPA and a nolle prosequi from assistance state attorny. ( no probation, no fine, no jail time, no admission of criminal facts,no guilty plea or any act against me from the court). If I apply for Citizenship now ( I am on green card since 3 1/2 years based on marriage to US citizen), what is possiblitiy of denial ? or am I inadmissible if I travel overseas after this disposition? Can you please advise me. Thank you for help.

    1. The forum rule against double-posting applies to you, not just to others.

    2. Asking the same question more than once doesn't change the answer.
