Default How Frequently Are Sex Offenders Actually Convicted in Court

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Indiana

Does anyone know how frequently sex cases actually go to court and are convicted? I saw a post earlier saying how a vast majority of sex crimes don't even make it to court and are often settled before. A friend of mine was arrested and would like his charges to be reduced since the evidence is limited, and it's a first time offense but I was just wondering how likely it is that he would be offered a plea bargain or something of the like.

Without knowing what he is charged with and what the evidence is against him, it's impossible to even guess.
