    Default Assault Against a Minor

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Ohio
A friend's daughter (under 16) was recently restrained by another girl's mother (arms held back) so her daughter could punch my friend's daughter in the face. What can my friend do? She wasn't there and there were very few witnesses. This was about 3 days ago. The other 'parent' also made threats towards my friends daughter. What can she do and since it happened 3 days ago, is it to late to file a complaint with the police?

No, it's not too late - but it DOES need to happen SOONER rather than LATER if the report is going to be given a meaninfgul level of credibility.
