    Default Multiple Paycheck Issues

My question involves employment and labor law for the state of: California

Previous employer was late with *every* paycheck (sometimes for months at a time), didn't provide last paycheck until the Labor Board conference, failed to pay overtime and provided multiple paychecks missing required information. How are penalties figured? Up to 30 days wages for *each* violation plus interest? One penalty of 30 days wages plus interest? what is the interest rate & how is it computed?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Penalties are figured how ever the state decides. Penalties are not automatic and depending on the specifics may be payable to the state, not to you.

In CA there are penalties for late paychecks, missing check information, missed meal periods, missed rest periods, etc that are paid to me plus interest. I was wanting to know if they are "usually & customarily" assessed by individual check/violation or as one penalty for collective late checks, another penalty for collective missing check information and so forth. I'm not so much worried about how much the state gets :-).
    Thanks!

I am aware that there are penalties for late paychecks etc. They are not always ordered by the state, and when ordered they are not always paid to you. Since the state decides on an individual basis whether to award penalities to you at all and if so how much, a "usual and customary" is not applicable.
