    Default Worker's comp pay

My wife keeps getting the run around on workers comp doing a carpol tunnel operation and I am wondering how long she can be on workers comp.
Is there a time limit where all the sudden they kick you off and say they cant do any more for you or do they have to take care of the problem and keep paying the workers comp checks.
I am sure there is money in it for every body meanning the doctor and the lawyer so why do it and get it over with.It seems like they want to just
    keep draging this thing out.
O yea we live in California I know the laws must be differnt in other states.
Any body know about this question?
    Thanks Doug

    My response:

Please be more specific. What do you mean by "run around"? Does she want the operation, or not?
