Default Child Support Emancipation in New Jersey

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: New Jersey

If my divorce decree states that my son will be emancipated at age 22 do I still need to file a motion to have this law enforced in the court?

Contact the child support agency and ask. If they indicate that they have already scheduled support (and any garnishment order) to terminate as of that date, then that presumably is what they have done. If not, and they won't act administratively to verify and implement the termination date, it would follow that you would need to bring a motion.
