My question involves a child custody case from the State of: FLA
My Ex-Wife has visitation and is not paying child support. She is unemployed and getting state money from New York, where she lives.
She is getting information on her legal questions from someone she calls a "Legal Advocate" - I believe this person is at a local courthouse or government building - I believe she pays little or nothing for this advise.
Question: What is a legal advocate? To what extent do they usually get involved with a client? go to court with them? just give basic legal advice?
Thanks, Bill
