    Default Statues of Limitations for Statutory Rape

    My question involves criminal law for the state of: georgia I was 14 and the girl I was involved with was 18 at the time I'm now 27 is it to late to press charges

    Yes, it is. The statute of limitations started running when you turned 16 (Georgia is unusual in that regard) and ran for 4 years. After that 4 years, the criminal SOL is expired. Even the specially tolled civil statute of limitations, which would have allowed you to sue for civil damages, ran out by the time you reached 23.
