My question involves criminal law for the state of: Ontario Canada
Hello guys
This is my first time posing, I hope someone here can help me.
Here is a really short version of my story.
I have an ex girlfriend who cant let go of me even though she has a boyfriend now. Basically, I couldnt resist the temptation and gave in, (yes I understand it is my fault) and we engaged in a long term sexual relationship. Finally 2 weeks ago, her boyfriend found part of our emails and she told her boyfriend that she was forced by me into meeting up with her and engaging in sexual activities because she was so afriad of losing him. So now I am the bad guy which I dont mind as long as it can save her relationship but the boyfriend now wants to report to the police. I am afraid if he persist, my ex girlfriend will give in and accuse me of sexual assault or rape (I am actually not sure what charges), then in which it will be her words against mine and that could highly happen knowing her. Everything was mutual and I have the emails from her that she admited that she told her boyfriend this story and apologize and everything. She is 5 years younger but legal, and when I met her 2 years ago she was not and we engaged in sexual activity (again it was consentual, and she lied to me about her age too, we met on a forum online).
My question is, should I be worried if she decide to listen to her boyfriend and falsely press charge against me even though I have emails from her?
Thank you so much guys, you have no idea how much any legal advise from you guys mean to me. I can barely breathe thinking about it.
