Default Support Payor Is Out of the Country

My X moved to New Zealand last year. I haven't seen a penny of child support. How do I go about getting the order enforced? The little bit of information I was able to get my hands on says that basically there is nothing I can do as there are no treaties between the US and NZ. My child support order is from the State of Minnesota.

I do not nor have I ever relied on the support money my X owes, and honestly if it is going to cost me an arm and a leg to get the measly amount he is suppose to pay me enforced it isnt worth it.

Any advice or contact info would be greatly appreciated!

NZ has signed the Hauge Convention and it is true that your state doesn't have an agreement to enforce foreign CS orders, however there may be ways to enforce it and that doesn't stop it from accruing while he is in NZ. My understanding is that NZ has limitaitons on how long USC can reside and work there. You may still be able to enforce the order through his employer.
