    Default Emancipation in New Hampshire

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: New Hampshire

my name is krissy. i live in New Hampshire. i am 16 years old with a one and a half month old baby. i have been out of school for almost a full year and would love to go back but i cannot because my mother does not have custody of me and cant enroll me in school.my fathers house is unsanitary and my mothers house is not safe for my son to live in either. i have gone to the probate court house to just ask questions about this. the girl at the desk told me very rudely that the state of new Hampshire does not recognize emancipation, but a lot of other people have told me different. my parents are willing to give me the responsibility of living on my own for the sake of my child and my education and future responsibilities. please help

You absolutely would not - even if your state allowed it - qualify for emancipation.

You are a teen Mom with a baby, and this tells the court that you need more - not less - adult supervision.

What you CAN do is report the unsanitary conditions to CPS.

    They can help.
