Question Does Your Custody Court Change if You Move to a Different Parish

I am the domicilary parent and my ex lives out of the parish I live currently in. If I moved outside of the parish that we divorced in and need to update custody arrangements does the court change?

Default Re: Moving to Another Parish. Does My Court Change

You would need to request a Change of Venue at the time you submit any motions to modify the custody order.
