Default Can Drug Charges Be Changed

My question involves criminal law for the state of: South Carolina
I would like to know if a person bonds out of jail on a distribution charge, can the prosecution later charge them with trafficing?

sure. Most crimes have at least 1 year statute of limitations during which you could be charged. As long as it is within the SOL, they can charge you for every crime they discover.

and with this new charge, they can raise the bond if the bond for the new charge is higher than the old bond.
