My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: MA
I was working through a temp employment agency for a company which was going to hire me. The employment agency did a background check when I began my assignment with this company. I signed a document giving consent for it. Then when the company I was working at did a background for pre-employment, they ended my working for them on the spot. I asked the person why didn't the employment agency say anything when I began working there. Which she said that is an issue with the employment agency. So wouldn't this be an issue seeing as it really messed with my plans financially? What am I supposed to do next?
